Past Projects

Maintenance and Repair of Petrochemical complexes

JSCO was in charge of all operations related to maintenance and repair of Abadan petrochemical complex in 2011, Khark petrochemical complex in 2014 and Jam petrochemical complex Olefin, PE and HDPE units since 2007. Some of the repair and maintenance work includes the following:

·         Repair and calibration of PSVs and MOVs

·         Repairs of main pumps including cooling water, feed water and boiler pumps

·         Repair and maintenance of electrical and instrumentation components

Completion of construction and installation of Jam petrochemical PE (Poly Ethylene) and Butadiene units

One of JSCO’s past projects was completion of remaining construction and installation work of Jam petrochemical PE and Butadiene units including piping, installation of mechanical and instrumentation equipment and performance of functional tests.

Construction of Jam Petrochemical Staff Restaurant Development

In 2021, JSCO was contracted building of a brand new explosion proof restaurant for Jam Petrochemical as part of their restaurant development plans. With the completion of the design work (architectural, electrical and mechanical), construction began in March 2021. This project is currently under construction and it is expected to be completed by the end 2021.

Revamping of F106 furnace of Jam Petrochemical Olefin unit

In collaboration with Wison China, JSCO carried out revamping of furnace F-106 of Jam Petrochemical. In this one million Euros project, in addition to increasing the capacity and updating the furnace equipment, the transfer of technical knowledge on increasing the capacity of cracking furnaces was also happened.

In this project, the production capacity of the furnace F-106 was increased by 15%.This made it possible to increase the gas feed capacity from 40 to 46 tons and the liquid from 50 to 57 tons. Despite the low percentage of oxygen consumed in the furnace, the amount of "NOX" and "So2 / Co" was within the allowable range and the environmental performance of the furnace was approved.
